Chad Martin

I have eleven years of experience as an administrator. I am currently starting my 24th year in education. I have been married for 22 years and have three children.  I am excited to have the opportunity to work with our students and staff at the EXCEL Academy. I look forward to empowering our students as they find their passion and interest during this time of their lives. It is exciting to be a part of this special time as they become valuable members of our communities.

Vivian Bishop-Harris

 

Dr. Vivian Bishop Harris currently serves as the Administrator of Academics at EXCEL and Career Academy, bringing over 24 years of experience within the Calhoun County School System. Throughout her career, she has held roles as a Special Education Teacher and Assistant Principal. Dr. Harris holds several advanced degrees, including a Bachelor of Science in Education, a Master of Science in Collaborative Education, an Educational Specialist degree in Instructional Leadership, all from Jacksonville State University, and a Doctor of Education in Instructional Leadership,  from The University of Alabama. Dr. Harris is also a Highland’s College graduate where she earned a Pastoral Leadership Certificate in 2021.  

In addition to her professional achievements, Dr. Harris is a proud mother of three sons—David, Armond, and Arik—and a grandmother to seven grandchildren, including her newest addition, Amora.

In her leisure time, Dr. Harris enjoys traveling to diverse and exotic locations, spending quality time with her family, and finding peace in reading the Bible, which she values for its guidance and wisdom. She is also an avid fan of college and NFL football and enjoys shopping.
